ABOUT
The Land Management Division of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission is dedicated to assisting landowners across Oklahoma with resource concerns that have an impact on our state’s soil, water, and safety. The division consists of four areas:
- Invasive Woody Species Mitigation
- Land Restoration
- Unpaved Roads
- Conservation/Nutrient Management Planning.

Land Restoration
The purpose of the land restoration program is to reclaim abandoned mined land in Oklahoma by contracting with private entities to perform reclamation work.
Unpaved Roads
Focusing on implementation of best management practices to improve water quality, the unpaved roads program also reduces unpaved county road maintenance costs.
Conservation & Nutrient Management Planning
Assistance is provided to Oklahoma’s 84 Conservation Districts in the development of conservation and nutrient management plans that address resource concerns of Oklahoma landowners.
Invasive Woody Species
HB2239 Created the Terry Peach North Canadian Watershed Restoration Act that establishes a pilot program to manage and eradicate woody species in the North Canadian Watershed to be administered by the Oklahoma Conservation Commission
