PROTECTING LIVES, REPAIRING SCARRED LAND, AND IMPROVING THE ENVIRONMENT
The purpose of the program is to reclaim abandoned mined land in Oklahoma. The Land Management Program through the Office of Management and Enterprise Services, contracts with private contractors to perform the reclamation work. All previously mined lands are prioritized on potential threat to the public health and safety.
