Riverology 201: A Workshop for Educators

GRDA, the Illinois River Watershed Partnership, Blue Thumb, Ag in the Classroom and OSU Extension are offering an immersive workshop for teachers July 23-25 at the Tahlequah Municipal Armory. The workshop will be held from 8:30 am to 4 pm each day. Riverology 201 will provide in-depth information about stream ecology and place-based information about the Illinois River. In addition to engaging hands-on activities during the workshop, participants will leave with a wealth of materials to carry lessons learned into their classrooms. The cost is $100 per teacher. The curriculum is different from Riverology 101…so, if you participated in Riverology 101 previously, now is the time to experience Riverology 201!
