CANCELED: Alva Blue Thumb Training for Volunteers

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED! The Blue Thumb training in Alva scheduled for Sept. 11 has been canceled. Thank you and please watch for future training opportunities!

• Over 80 streams are actively monitored across the state.
• Ages are middle school through retirement
• Teachers can attend and then request a “mini-academy” that prepares students for monitoring
• Participants receive the “Project WET 2.0 Guide” that is filled with water activities for all ages, plus certification as a WET (water education today) facilitator
• Both days are required to be a monitoring volunteer. Those who to be an education only volunteer can choose to attend only Saturday
