DESCRIPTION:Join Okies for Monarchs for the most bee-utiful sunset party in OKC to celebrate Pollinator Week at Skydance Bridge as it lights up yellow and orange on Tuesday, June 21.\nCome out and get the most fluttering sunset selfies as the Scissortail Bridge lights up orange and yellow around 8:30pm!\nTake a stroll through the pop-up plant shop and purchase locally-grown native wildflowers and milkweed for your garden from our friends at Lia’s Garden at Commonwealth.\nTake the pollinator pledge and get free seeds!\nEnjoy a guided Wildflower Walk through Scissortail Park and bee inspired by the amazing native plant landscaping!\nPurchase rad t-shirts, stickers and signs from local pollinator lover and stellar artist, Amanda Zoey Weathers. You could even be the winner of the scavenger hunt she’s got planned!\nAsk an expert! A variety of pollinator and wildflower experts will be on hand, so bring your inquiring minds and gardening questions.\nTake a bike ride with Hide & Go Bike! Bonus points if you wear a pollinator costume.\nInspired by Oklahoma’s state bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher, Skydance Bridge soars over Interstate 40. The bridge is a 380-foot-long pedestrian bridge with a 197-foot-tall sculpture. The bridge is made of 412 tons of steel and is illuminated nightly by LED lights. These colored lights are changed remotely for special events and holidays. The bridge is located on I-40 near Robinson Ave. S. in Oklahoma City, OK 73109.\nParking is available on Hudson Ave. just northwest of the bridge.
